News<\/div>Installation and Setup of the Pit Lathe<\/span>
FVG Rail has acquired a CNC technology Pit Lathe, with the main feature of the machine being its below-ground positioning, allowing for the processing of wheels and discs in place without disassembling the axles from locomotives\/cars.<\/h6>\n

The lathe was built by Meccanotecnica in San Daniele del Friuli, with internal design and customization according to our requirements. Construction of the new pit lathe building began in November, culminating in the installation of the block and assembly of components. The activities lasted for approximately 60 days, and currently, electrical and network connections are in progress.<\/p>\n

In the 6th week, functional tests of the lathe and the configuration of the Industry 4.0 network connections will begin, along with the setup related to pre-set vehicle models.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
